As an experienced executive with a background in communications and marketing leadership strategies, and relationship engagement, John brings businesses, not-for-profits, and individuals a range of services that are tailored to their needs. As a Communications and Marketing Innovator with more than 20 years of corporate relations experience, John played a critical role in the 21st Century's most innovative, fastest-growing, and dynamic industries.

John's experience and qualifications have given him the ability to work with some of the world's leading companies, educational institutions, and start-ups: Time Warner, Gannett Inc., Paragon Communications, a joint venture with Houston Industries, ProActive Communications, New York Affordable Reliable Electricity Alliance in partnership with Entergy Nuclear, and Change Create Transform LLC to name a few. John advised leadership on a range of activities impacting operations and profits, public policy, community relations, government affairs, marketing strategies, branding and product development, employee engagement, media campaigns, diversity, and philanthropic initiatives.
As Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Time Warner, he managed the cable television's franchise agreements while overseeing compliance and reporting procedures relating to a $400 million restructuring, affecting 1.2 million customers in NYC. In addition to John's role as Director of Corporate Relations and Market Development at Gannett, he served separately as the Executive Director for the Gannett Foundation (The Journal News) a subsidiary of Gannett/USA Today, and Executive Director for the company's Lend-A-Hand Foundation in New York.

John's practical and tactical approach leads the way in linking his multi-communications skill set to help connect companies to their customers, employees, communities, and the world. His experience over the years has aided organizations in accessing the benefits of the digital era in the most competitive, growing, and demanding markets. John helps organizations with their communications, marketing strategies, and plans as technology breakthroughs, fierce competition, and customer demand for top-quality information and technology, customer service, and education drive the future.

Before joining corporate America, John began his career in higher education at Bronx Community College, the City University of New York, as an Admissions and Recruitment officer. He then moved onto Malcolm-King College, an extension of Fordham University, Mary Mount Manhattan College, and the College of Mount St. Vincent, where he served in many capacities as the Director of Financial Aid, Director of Student Life, and Enrollment Manager.

While building on his success, John's active role in the community goes beyond his day-to-day duties. Lending his professional expertise allows him to serve on many institutions promoting community and economic development, education, energy and environment, affordable housing and homelessness, and diversity and quality of life initiatives; he champions the cause of some of the country's most civic and cultural organizations. As part of John's international missions work, he travels throughout various cities in Guatemala, South America where he spends time visiting the sick in hospitals, and elderly nursing homes, rebuilding schools, and, meeting with officials to provide encouragement, hope, and friendship.

John currently serves on the Change Create Transform LLC Board of Advisors, the Business Council of Westchester Government Committee, the African American Men of Westchester Board, Westchester Latinos Unidos Board. Past boards included the United Way, Slater Youth Center, American Red Cross of Westchester, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, Mercy College Advisory Board, Westchester Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board, Advisor to the Hospices of New York, and The African American Chamber of Commerce of Westchester.
